Kirrilly Rose Halvorsen is a boutique jeweller and designer living on the Far North Coast of NSW, Australia, where she draws inspiration from the surrounding natural beauty. She is the granddaughter of two pioneering families in the area, creating a sense of legacy and heritage that she draws from in handcrafting fine jewellery.
This strong sense of ties with her family’s past and her connection to the traditional methods of hand made jewellery, passed down over many generations, inspire her to produce distinctive and individual pieces that are more than just material objects.
“Jewellery is often symbolic of the many precious moments in our lives; a celebration, a promise, a memory,” says Kirrilly. “As I discuss with my clients there will often be one moment in the conversation from which I then capture and create a treasured piece reflecting their individual style and desires. I love seeing the finished pieces that embody more than precious metal and jewels, pieces that will grow in sentiment over the years and will eventually be passed on to future generations.”
Kirrilly is a fully qualified jeweller having completed her study under world class jewellers in Byron Bay. Kirrilly also does design work for companies, including opal designs for Alliam Jewellery (view pieces in the jewellery gallery).
